Designer position at Chopard's Pforzheim location specializing in luxury jewelry and timepiece design.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop innovative design concepts for luxury jewelry and timepiece collections aligned with brand identity and heritage
- Create sketches, renderings, presentations, and 3D models for design concepts
- Refine and evolve existing product lines while maintaining brand DNA
- Evaluate and optimize prototypes and guide rapid-prototyping processes
- Conduct technical coordination with product development, construction, production, and external manufacturing partners
- Translate market trends and impulses into distinctive jewelry and watch designs
- Research and develop new materials, surfaces, and manufacturing techniques
Qualifications
- Proven experience in jewelry and/or timepiece design within a luxury environment
- Strong portfolio demonstrating design excellence and technical proficiency
- Proficiency with design and 3D modeling software
- Understanding of luxury brand DNA and heritage craftsmanship
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes for jewelry and horology
Skills
Experience
Demonstrated professional experience in luxury jewelry and/or timepiece design, with a track record of developing collections from concept through production.
Education
Formal education in product design, industrial design, jewelry design, or related discipline; certification or training in luxury goods design is advantageous.
