Chopard is seeking a CNC Machine Setter for its manufacturing site in Birkenfeld. The role involves setting up and operating 5-axis CNC milling machines, programming and optimizing machining processes, inspecting precision parts, and supporting maintenance work.
Role & Responsibilities
- Set up, commission and operate modern CNC-controlled milling machines, including 5-axis machining centers.
- Independently create, set up and optimize CNC programs directly on the machine.
- Perform dimensional and quality inspections of precision parts as part of operator self-inspection.
- Monitor the manufacturing process and ensure the required quality standards are met.
- Optimize existing machining processes for quality and efficiency.
- Select and measure tools.
- Analyze and resolve disruptions in the manufacturing process.
- Support maintenance and servicing work.
