Wine Service Intern at Cheval Blanc Paris (LVMH); internship opportunity in luxury Italian restaurant with Michelin-starred dining.
Role & Responsibilities
- Guide and counsel guests through wine and spirits selections aligned with their preferences and the restaurant's offerings
- Contribute to the execution of harmonious wine and food pairings, elevating the culinary experience
- Provide refined wine service during service hours, demonstrating technical proficiency and attention to detail
- Manage cellar operations including stock monitoring, inventory counts, and proper wine conservation
- Assist with operational setup and mise en place for wine service
- Support the Head Sommelier in cellar management and daily operations
- Maintain professional communication with front-of-house and kitchen teams
Qualifications
- BEP/CAP/BAC PRO in hospitality or food service (or equivalent)
- Prior experience in a similar luxury or Michelin-starred establishment preferred
- Advanced knowledge of wine, spirits, and beverage pairings
- Proficiency with Point of Sale systems (Micros), booking platforms (La Fourchette), and Microsoft Office suite
- Fluent English (written and oral) required
- Knowledge of additional languages such as Arabic, Russian, Mandarin Chinese, or Portuguese highly valued
Skills
Experience
BEP/CAP/BAC PRO qualification in hospitality or food service; familiarity with luxury hotel or Michelin-starred restaurant environments strongly preferred; foundational experience in a service role of similar standing.

BEP, CAP, or BAC PRO in hospitality, food service, or hotel management
