Cheval Blanc (Hotel Pitrizza), Porto Cervo — Temporary Warehouse Clerk. On-site role supporting purchasing, inventory control and stock management.
Role & Responsibilities
- Verify incoming goods against purchase orders and specifications to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Authorize and process requisition forms and distribute stock using FIFO rotation to maintain product integrity.
- Monitor inventory levels, report low-stock items to the purchasing/economy manager and manage minimum stock thresholds.
- Support monthly and periodic stock counts, ensuring accurate recording of distributions and F&B transfers in the inventory system.
- Identify slow-moving or near-expiry items, maintain clean and secure storage areas and contribute to efficient warehouse operations supporting all hotel departments.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a warehouse, inventory or purchasing role—experience in hospitality preferred.
- Proficiency with purchasing/inventory systems, specifically Business Central, and basic Microsoft Excel skills.
- Solid knowledge of inventory control practices, cost-conscious stock management and quality assurance procedures.
- Good written and verbal communication in English to liaise with colleagues and suppliers.
- Strong organisational skills, time management and meticulous attention to detail; ability to work collaboratively and adapt to changing priorities.

Minimum 3 years' professional experience in warehouse, inventory or purchasing operations, preferably within hospitality or fast-moving consumer goods environments.
Education
