Role & Responsibilities

  • Verify incoming goods against purchase orders and specifications to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Authorize and process requisition forms and distribute stock using FIFO rotation to maintain product integrity.
  • Monitor inventory levels, report low-stock items to the purchasing/economy manager and manage minimum stock thresholds.
  • Support monthly and periodic stock counts, ensuring accurate recording of distributions and F&B transfers in the inventory system.
  • Identify slow-moving or near-expiry items, maintain clean and secure storage areas and contribute to efficient warehouse operations supporting all hotel departments.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a warehouse, inventory or purchasing role—experience in hospitality preferred.
  • Proficiency with purchasing/inventory systems, specifically Business Central, and basic Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Solid knowledge of inventory control practices, cost-conscious stock management and quality assurance procedures.
  • Good written and verbal communication in English to liaise with colleagues and suppliers.
  • Strong organisational skills, time management and meticulous attention to detail; ability to work collaboratively and adapt to changing priorities.

Experience
