Role & Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance and upkeep of hotel facilities, technical areas, equipment, and energy systems in collaboration with the Technical Director
• Develop and implement preventative and corrective maintenance actions, ensuring continuous improvement and optimal equipment functionality
• Coordinate interventions with operational departments to prioritize work, minimize operational impact, and maintain rigorous project oversight for both in-house and external contractor work
• Monitor maintenance contracts, process purchase requisitions, and ensure adherence to operational procedures, safety standards, and security protocols
• Organize service schedules, manage staffing plans, supervise teams, and facilitate information flow between departments
• Identify and escalate to senior management any unusual situations, safety concerns, or accident risks affecting guests or staff

Qualifications

• Baccalauréat +2 or equivalent, preferably with specialization in maintenance, electrical systems, plumbing, carpentry, or painting
• Minimum 5 years of confirmed experience in a similar technical management role
• Extensive knowledge of luxury hospitality sector operations
• Proficiency in cross-functional technical areas including electrical systems, plumbing, air conditioning, heating, and safety systems
• Recognized management capabilities to recruit, train, organize, lead, support, and develop technical teams
• Fluent English proficiency, both written and oral

Skills

Experience

Minimum 5 years of confirmed experience in a similar technical management position within luxury hospitality or comparable complex facilities environment. Demonstrated knowledge of luxury hotel operations is essential for success in this role.

Education

Baccalauréat +2 or equivalent qualification, ideally complemented by formal training in maintenance disciplines such as electrical work, plumbing, carpentry, or painting.
