Role & Responsibilities
- Ensure thorough cleaning and sanitization of all dishware, glassware, cutlery, and kitchen equipment using appropriate commercial dishwashing machines and approved cleaning products
- Maintain impeccable order and cleanliness throughout washing areas, kitchens, and storage zones in strict adherence to standard operating procedures (SOP)
- Execute proper handling, organization, and storage of dishware, cookware, and kitchen utensils to optimize workflow and accessibility
- Support the kitchen brigade in preparation and setup of workstations before service and systematic breakdown and resetting following each shift
- Uphold all HACCP food safety protocols and workplace safety regulations to protect staff and guests
- Promptly report equipment malfunctions or shortages of cleaning supplies to supervisory staff
- Contribute to maintaining a harmonious, sanitary, and operationally efficient kitchen environment
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a steward or dishwashing role within luxury hospitality or fine dining establishments
- Comprehensive understanding of food hygiene and HACCP regulations
- Demonstrated commitment to responsibility, reliability, and meticulous attention to detail
