Role & Responsibilities

  • Ensure thorough cleaning and sanitization of all dishware, glassware, cutlery, and kitchen equipment using appropriate commercial dishwashing machines and approved cleaning products
  • Maintain impeccable order and cleanliness throughout washing areas, kitchens, and storage zones in strict adherence to standard operating procedures (SOP)
  • Execute proper handling, organization, and storage of dishware, cookware, and kitchen utensils to optimize workflow and accessibility
  • Support the kitchen brigade in preparation and setup of workstations before service and systematic breakdown and resetting following each shift
  • Uphold all HACCP food safety protocols and workplace safety regulations to protect staff and guests
  • Promptly report equipment malfunctions or shortages of cleaning supplies to supervisory staff
  • Contribute to maintaining a harmonious, sanitary, and operationally efficient kitchen environment

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a steward or dishwashing role within luxury hospitality or fine dining establishments
  • Comprehensive understanding of food hygiene and HACCP regulations
