Cheval Blanc — Hotel Pitrizza in Porto Cervo seeks a Rotational Receptionist (temporary, on-site) to join the front office team.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage guest arrivals and departures, executing check‑in and check‑out procedures in accordance with hotel standards.
- Monitor daily arrivals and departures and maintain up‑to‑date booking and occupancy schedules.
- Process reservations received by telephone and email, ensuring responses and confirmations within 24 hours.
- Prepare arrival documentation (registration cards, group folders) and organise administrative materials for each shift.
- Handle billing, room release and credit guarantee procedures, including credit card authorisations and deposits.
- Provide five‑star guest service and local information, responding to enquiries to ensure exceptional guest satisfaction.
- Enforce guest safety procedures and uphold personal hygiene and public area cleanliness within reception and lobby.
- Complete all administrative tasks from the daily shift checklist and be available for day and night shifts as operationally required.
Qualifications
- Previous front office experience preferred; demonstrable familiarity with standard reception duties.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and a flexible, service‑oriented attitude.
- Team spirit, curiosity and demonstrable willingness to learn and develop within a luxury hospitality environment.
- Valid EU passport or work permit permitting employment in Italy.
- Availability to work rotating day and night shifts.
