Cheval Blanc St-Barth seeks a Rotating Receptionist in Saint Barthélemy — front‑desk role (CDD) providing day and night guest service.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver a warm, faultless welcome and departure experience for guests across day and night shifts, ensuring continuity of service.
  • Manage check-in/check-out, billing and night-specific front‑office tasks with accuracy and discretion.
  • Collaborate closely with Concierge, Butler and Housekeeping teams to coordinate bespoke guest services and special requests.
  • Anticipate guest needs, provide expert recommendations on hotel services and local experiences, and personalise interactions to enhance satisfaction.
  • Apply and uphold Cheval Blanc service standards and operational procedures at all times.
  • Contribute to revenue generation through informed upselling of rooms, F&B and spa experiences.
  • Maintain accurate guest records and communications within the PMS and internal systems.
  • Handle confidential information with professionalism and exercise discretion during all guest interactions.

Qualifications

  • Minimum three years’ experience in front‑desk or guest-reception roles, preferably within luxury hotels.
  • Baccalauréat Technologique Hôtelier or equivalent vocational qualification in hospitality.
  • Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken; proficiency in a third language (Arabic, Russian, Chinese, Portuguese) strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience using Opera PMS and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Demonstrated professionalism, strong interpersonal skills, meticulous attention to detail and proven discretion.

Experience

Minimum 3 years of professional experience in guest reception/front‑office roles, with a preference for candidates who have worked in luxury hotel environments and night‑duty rotations.
