Role & Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the room service point of sale in optimal condition, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and adequate stock levels throughout service hours
• Assist the Room Service Manager in coordinating operational flows and liaising with kitchen, purchasing, pantry, cellar, and stewarding departments to ensure seamless service continuity
• Execute room service orders with discretion and professionalism, assisting with tray setup and preparation of food and beverage orders in the service pantry
• Manage supplier relationships and coordinate with various service departments to maintain efficient operational standards
• Participate in the delivery of guest orders while upholding the Maison's exacting standards of discretion, precision, and attentive service

Qualifications

• Advanced hospitality or gastronomy education (such as BTS or equivalent)
• Knowledge of HACCP food hygiene protocols
• Familiarity with luxury hospitality or Michelin-starred restaurant environments
• Strong foundation in gastronomic culture
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and Micros point-of-sale systems
• Fluent English (written and oral) required

Skills

Experience

Beginner level; prior experience in service within a luxury hospitality or fine dining establishment is advantageous but not required.

Education

Advanced hospitality or gastronomy education (such as BTS - Brevet de Technicien Supérieur) or equivalent qualification.
