Cheval Blanc St-Barth is hiring a Room Attendant in Saint Barthélemy. Full-time contract role for an entry-level housekeeping professional.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver immaculate cleaning and preparation of guest rooms, suites and villas to Palace standards, ensuring every detail reflects the Maisons level of luxury and comfort.
- Perform thorough upkeep and maintenance checks of fixtures, equipment and room amenities; report defects or safety issues promptly to the housekeeping supervisory team.
- Anticipate and observe guest preferences and behaviours; share relevant information with supervisors to enable personalised service and thoughtful in‑room touches.
- Coordinate closely with fellow housekeepers, supervisors and other hotel departments to guarantee timely room turnover and a seamless guest experience.
- Maintain strict discretion and a discreet presence in guest areas while responding quickly and professionally to requests.
Qualifications
- No prior professional experience required (débutant welcome); experience in luxury hospitality is an asset.
- Good spoken English; ability to communicate effectively with international guests and colleagues.
- Demonstrable attention to detail, precision and high standards of cleanliness.
- Strong team orientation, reliability and the ability to work under the direction of housekeeping supervisors.
- Absolute discretion, professionalism and responsiveness when interacting with guests.
Skills
Experience
Entry-level (dbutant). Candidates with little or no prior hotel experience are encouraged to apply; on-the-job training will be provided. Previous exposure to luxury or five‑star hospitality is advantageous.
Education
Secondary school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational training or certification in hospitality/housekeeping is a plus.
