Cheval Blanc Courchevel seeks a Restaurant Manager for Le Grill Alpin, a fine-dining venue at this prestigious five-star palace hotel in France.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional gastronomic experiences to hotel guests and external clients while upholding Chef Alléno's culinary standards and hotel procedures
  • Maintain exemplary guest relations with discretion and confidentiality, proactively anticipating and responding to guest needs and preferences
  • Address guest complaints and feedback with professionalism and grace according to hotel protocols
  • Build guest loyalty and promote the broader Cheval Blanc Collection and hotel services
  • Oversee all operational activities of the restaurant, supervising and monitoring service quality and adherence to hotel standards
  • Ensure seamless guest experience from arrival through departure, including accurate guest record management (Cardex)
  • Propose new products and services to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue generation
  • Coordinate restaurant operations with kitchen and pastry teams to ensure operational excellence
  • Manage all departmental costs including food, supplies, and labor while driving revenue growth
  • Recruit, integrate, and develop restaurant team members with attention to planning and professional development
  • Ensure compliance with labor legislation and internal HR procedures
  • Communicate all client information and directives clearly to team members

Qualifications

  • BEP, CAP, or BAC PRO in hospitality or culinary services
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a comparable luxury or Michelin-starred establishment
  • Proficiency in HACCP food safety standards
  • Fluent English and French, both written and oral
  • Mastery of fine dining service techniques
  • Demonstrated passion for gastronomy and luxury hospitality
