Cheval Blanc St-Barth seeks a Restaurant Host in Saint-Barthélemy for this luxury Caribbean palace hospitality role.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Greet guests with warmth and refinement, directing them to their table or preferred location
  • Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests, ensuring satisfaction throughout their dining experience
  • Handle reservation inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, optimizing restaurant occupancy while accommodating special requests
  • Maintain rigorous administrative oversight of all reservations and coordinate group bookings with relevant departments
  • Manage coat check and facilitate guest transitions from arrival through departure
  • Promote restaurant offerings and special dining events organized by the hotel and Cheval Blanc Maisons
  • Ensure consistent execution of the brand's service standards and hospitality philosophy

Qualifications

  • BEP, CAP, or BAC PRO in hospitality or culinary studies (LEA background also acceptable)
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in luxury hospitality or fine dining establishments
  • Demonstrated experience as a host or similar front-of-house role in a comparable luxury property
  • Fluent spoken and written English and French at professional level
  • Proficiency with Seven Rooms reservation software
  • Knowledge of luxury hospitality protocols and fine dining service standards
