Cheval Blanc St-Barth seeks a Restaurant Host in Saint-Barthélemy for this luxury Caribbean palace hospitality role.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet guests with warmth and refinement, directing them to their table or preferred location
- Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests, ensuring satisfaction throughout their dining experience
- Handle reservation inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, optimizing restaurant occupancy while accommodating special requests
- Maintain rigorous administrative oversight of all reservations and coordinate group bookings with relevant departments
- Manage coat check and facilitate guest transitions from arrival through departure
- Promote restaurant offerings and special dining events organized by the hotel and Cheval Blanc Maisons
- Ensure consistent execution of the brand's service standards and hospitality philosophy
Qualifications
- BEP, CAP, or BAC PRO in hospitality or culinary studies (LEA background also acceptable)
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in luxury hospitality or fine dining establishments
- Demonstrated experience as a host or similar front-of-house role in a comparable luxury property
- Fluent spoken and written English and French at professional level
- Proficiency with Seven Rooms reservation software
- Knowledge of luxury hospitality protocols and fine dining service standards
Skills
Experience
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in luxury hospitality or starred restaurant establishments, with at least one prior internship or position in a comparable luxury property.
Education
BEP, CAP, or BAC PRO in hospitality, culinary, or languages (LEA).
