Role & Responsibilities

  • Prepare and set up the restaurant dining room before service and perform closing duties, maintaining impeccable cleanliness and mise en place.
  • Support the Chef de Rang during table service by serving dishes and beverages and clearing courses with discretion and efficiency.
  • Ensure consistent replenishment of bread, water and station supplies to guarantee smooth service.
  • Collaborate closely with kitchen and front-of-house teams to maintain timely, seamless service flow.
  • Present dishes according to LQA standards and assist in plate presentation to uphold the property's quality expectations.
  • Comply strictly with hygiene and safety regulations (HACCP) and follow workplace health and safety protocols.
  • Handle simple guest requests and complaints courteously, escalating complex issues to senior staff.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in restaurant or hotel food & beverage service, preferably within a luxury hotel or fine-dining environment.
  • Strong service orientation, professional deportment and polished interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team and to follow instructions with accuracy and speed.
  • Fluent Italian and good command of English to interact with international guests and colleagues.
  • Working knowledge of HACCP principles; familiarity with LQA service standards is an advantage.
