Cheval Blanc St‑Barth seeks a Reservations Agent (Intern) in Saint Barthélemy. Internship role handling bookings, Opera & Office skills required.
Role & Responsibilities
- Handle all reservation requests across channels, selling appropriate room types and services while maximizing revenue opportunities.
- Ensure accuracy and reliability of bookings through correct data entry, confirmations and follow‑up in the property management system.
- Deliver impeccable telephone and written guest reception, maintaining high standards during each step of the sales process.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of the property, room categories, rate structures and ancillary services to advise and upsell effectively.
- Support relationship management with tour operators and travel agents, including occasional site inspections.
Qualifications
- Vocational diploma in hospitality (CAP), baccalaureate or BTS in Hospitality/Catering, or a Professional Certificate (MC) in Reception/Front Office.
- Fluent French and English, both written and spoken; additional third language is a strong asset.
- Previous experience in luxury hotel operations recommended but not required for the internship.
