The Recruitment and Development Manager partners with the Regional HR Director for the South to deliver HR policies across Cheval Blanc St-Tropez, Cheval Blanc Courchevel and the White 1921 properties, leading recruitment, onboarding, training, development and internal mobility. This is a full-time, permanent, on-site role.
Role & Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Regional HR Director for the South to implement HR policies across the region’s Maisons.
- Manage recruitment, onboarding, employee development and skills growth in line with Maison needs.
- Contribute to the recruitment strategy with the HR Director and safeguard the candidate experience.
- Assess recruitment needs, define and update job profiles with department and service heads, and manage candidate sourcing.
- Organize recruitment events, including job fairs, dedicated events and hotel recruitment days.
- Manage relationships with schools through forums, partnerships, school visits and hosting students at the hotel.
- Conduct selection interviews for all positions, including management and non-management roles, interns and apprentices.
- Manage candidate administration through the decision stage and ensure the selection and application-approval process is followed.
- Develop, implement and monitor annual performance review and career interview campaigns.
- Contribute to the annual training plan and ensure its rollout; develop and deliver internal training sessions, particularly on onboarding, recruitment and hotel tours.
- Define and implement internal mobility and promotion policies, and lead succession plans by service and department.
- Conduct exit interviews and adapt them as needed.
Qualifications
- BTS, bachelor’s or master’s degree in Human Resources, employment law or management.
- Significant experience in a generalist or specialist HR role.
- Experience in luxury hospitality or high-end dining is preferred.
- At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role; the role also lists a minimum of 3 years’ experience.
- Knowledge of core HR disciplines, including recruitment, personnel administration and training.
- Knowledge of employment law and legal obligations.
- Fluent French, spoken and written; professional English is preferred.
- People-oriented, with an affinity for company culture.
- Rigorous, discreet and committed to confidentiality.
- Active listening skills and the ability to support employees.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, a teaching approach and a team-oriented mindset.
