Receiving and Stock Management Associate at Cheval Blanc Paris, a luxury Michelin-starred hospitality destination. Full-time on-site role in Paris.
Role & Responsibilities
- Receive and verify incoming deliveries, documenting all shipments according to purchase orders and supplier information
- Inspect merchandise for quality, quantity, and compliance with ordering specifications, flagging discrepancies immediately
- Organize and store inventory in designated areas, following FIFO rotation and maintaining optimal warehouse organization
- Prepare and process stock withdrawals for distribution to food and beverage services, spa, front office, and housekeeping departments
- Maintain accurate stock movement records and updates within the Materials Control system
- Conduct regular inventory counts and analyze variances, collaborating with management to identify and resolve discrepancies
- Monitor stock consumption patterns and recommend optimization strategies to improve storage efficiency and reduce waste
- Process supplier purchase orders, track deliveries, and maintain vendor communication
- Track product returns and credits, maintaining accurate accounting records and supporting month-end reporting
- Ensure strict compliance with HACCP food safety standards, hygiene protocols, and health and safety regulations at all times
Qualifications
- Demonstrated knowledge of luxury hospitality and Michelin-starred restaurant operations
- Solid understanding of HACCP food safety and hygiene standards
- Proficiency with stock management principles, including FIFO methodology and warehouse organization
- Familiarity with hospitality suppliers, product categories, and sourcing best practices
- Ability to read, interpret, and organize documentation and purchase orders
- Comfort with physical handling of goods and ability to work in temperature-controlled environments
