Cheval Blanc Paris is hiring a Purchasing & Inventory Intern in Paris — internship in procurement and stock management at Cheval Blanc.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support end-to-end management of supplies and stock, including inventory monitoring and stock reconciliations.
- Raise and follow up purchase orders; coordinate with internal departments and suppliers to ensure timely deliveries.
- Receive and inspect incoming goods, verify delivery documentation and process discrepancies.
- Maintain rigorous electronic records of inventory movements and supplier transactions using the property systems.
- Analyse consumption patterns, identify trends and propose optimisations of assortments and suppliers.
- Research and evaluate new products and potential vendors to support operational excellence.
- Contribute to periodic stock counts and support continuous improvement of procurement and storeroom procedures.
Qualifications
- Enrolled student in business school, accounting & administration, or hotel management programme.
- Proven proficiency with Pack Office; familiarity with SAGE and OPERA Cloud is an advantage.
- Fluent in English, written and spoken.
- Strong numerical acuity, attention to detail and organisational discipline.
- Professional demeanour, discretion and a demonstrated sensitivity to luxury hospitality standards.
- Flexible availability and ability to adapt in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment.
