Cheval Blanc Seychelles: Plant Operator role on Mahé. Manage equipment, machinery, and maintenance for luxury resort operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee guest safety and address operational concerns with promptness and professionalism
- Execute preventive maintenance activities according to the hotel's scheduled maintenance plan
- Maintain and manage all tools and equipment supplied by the property in accordance with professional standards
- Adhere rigorously to all safety protocols and procedures during daily operations
- Maintain continuous communication with the Duty Engineer to coordinate maintenance activities
- Actively contribute to the hotel's energy conservation and sustainability initiatives
- Recommend and utilize environmentally-friendly products and practices within the workplace
- Identify and propose cost-saving opportunities relevant to the Engineering Department and broader operations
- Conduct daily chemical tests and record all results in the operational logbook
Qualifications
- Certificate or diploma in a relevant field (mechanical engineering, facilities management, or equivalent)
- Minimum 3 years of direct experience in plant operations or mechanical systems management
Skills
Experience
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in plant operations, mechanical systems, or facilities management in a hospitality or resort environment.
Education
Certificate or diploma in a relevant discipline such as mechanical engineering, facilities management, electrical systems, or plant engineering.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Mahé, Seychelles.
