Role & Responsibilities

  • Execute preparatory tasks and mise en place for pastry production, ensuring consistency with established techniques
  • Assist Demi-Chefs de Partie and Chefs de Partie in the confection and elaboration of pastries and desserts, learning and applying advanced culinary techniques
  • Ensure service delivery according to hotel procedures and standards, maintaining flawless guest experiences
  • Oversee plating and distribution of desserts with meticulous attention to presentation and quality
  • Maintain strict compliance with HACCP food safety protocols and house procedures throughout all operations
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of pastry kitchen facilities and equipment
  • Participate in the receipt and inventory of goods, following established procurement protocols

Qualifications

  • BEP or CAP in Pastry (or equivalent vocational qualification)
  • Baccalaureate or Professional qualification in Culinary Arts or Desserts
  • Demonstrable knowledge of HACCP food safety regulations
  • Prior experience in luxury hospitality or Michelin-starred dining establishments
  • Minimum 3 years of verified pastry experience in establishments of comparable standing
