Cheval Blanc St-Barth is recruiting a Night Auditor in Saint Barthélemy. Contract role for a night front-office professional fluent in French and English.
Role & Responsibilities
- Perform the nightly audit: reconcile daily transactions, balance ledgers, close financial cycles and prepare detailed night reports for management.
- Operate the front desk during overnight hours, ensuring a seamless guest experience for arrivals, departures and in-stay requests with discretion and composure.
- Manage cash, credit card reconciliation and account adjustments in accordance with internal controls and hotel financial procedures.
- Monitor safety and security of the property throughout the night, liaising with security and relevant departments to resolve incidents or operational issues.
- Prepare and distribute accurate handover briefs and reports for the morning shift; escalate unresolved matters to the Night Manager or Duty Manager.
- Maintain and update guest folios in the property management system and assist with remote reservations or billing queries as needed.
Qualifications
- Baccalauréat technologique hôtelier or equivalent vocational diploma in hospitality.
- Working proficiency in French and English (written and spoken); third language (Arabic, Russian, Chinese or Portuguese) strongly appreciated.
- Familiarity with luxury hotel standards and guest service etiquette.
- Proven numerical accuracy and experience with night audit procedures.
- Ability to work independently overnight, exercise discretion, and respond promptly under pressure.

Entry-level; open to candidates with limited professional experience. Prior experience (up to 2 years) in front-desk, reception or night audit roles within hospitality — ideally in luxury hotels — is preferred.
Education
Bac Technologique Hôtelier or equivalent hospitality vocational diploma.
