Cheval Blanc St-Barth in Saint Barthélemy seeks a Night Auditor (contract) to manage nightly financial operations and guest service.
Role & Responsibilities
- Perform the nightly audit: reconcile daily takings, verify postings and close the property’s financial activity in the PMS and accounting systems.
- Prepare and distribute accurate night reports and financial summaries for the operating and accounting teams; ensure seamless handover to the morning shift.
- Manage overnight front-office operations including guest check-ins/check-outs, reservation amendments and VIP arrivals while maintaining absolute discretion.
- Provide concierge-level guest service for overnight requests and handle escalations, emergencies and security incidents with calm, clear communication.
- Control cash, credit card transactions and night deposits; follow cash-handling procedures and ensure compliance with internal audit rules.
- Liaise with on-site departments (housekeeping, engineering, F&B, security) to resolve guest issues, track room status and coordinate service recovery when required.
Qualifications
- Baccalauréat Technologique Hôtellerie or equivalent hospitality diploma.
- Minimum two years’ experience in front office / guest reception roles; luxury hotel exposure highly preferred.
- Fluent written and spoken French and English; a third language (Arabic, Russian, Chinese, Portuguese) is an advantage.
- Proven competence with Opera PMS and Microsoft Office.
- Demonstrated discretion, precision, strong organisational skills and a polished guest-service demeanour.

Minimum two years’ professional experience in front-office or guest reception functions, preferably within the luxury or five‑star hotel segment.
Education
Baccalauréat Technologique Hôtellerie or equivalent vocational diploma in hospitality.
