Majordome position at Cheval Blanc St-Barth in Saint Barthélemy. Orchestrate bespoke ultra-luxury hospitality experiences in the Caribbean.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all hotel departments (housekeeping, room service, concierge, etc.) to ensure cohesive, seamless guest experiences aligned with Cheval Blanc's standards of excellence
  • Serve as the primary liaison and trusted confidant for guests throughout their stay, anticipating needs and responding to requests with discretion, attentiveness, and exceptional reactivity
  • Personalize guest arrivals and accommodations within private apartments, creating refined and welcoming atmospheres through curated welcome rituals and bespoke environmental touches
  • Orchestrate special attentions, personalized gifts, and premium amenities that elevate the guest experience and reinforce the brand's commitment to exclusivity
  • Manage information flow and follow-up on guest requests across all service channels, ensuring consistency and accountability throughout the property
  • Balance proactive engagement with guests' need for privacy and discretion, recognizing when to anticipate needs and when to remain tactfully present but unobtrusive

Qualifications

  • BTS in Hotel Management or Hospitality/Culinary Arts
  • Minimum one year of professional experience in guest-facing hospitality roles (concierge, front-of-house, dining service, or equivalent)
  • Demonstrable knowledge of ultra-luxury hospitality sector practices and service standards
  • Fluent English and French (spoken and written)
  • Knowledge of a third language is desirable
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Opera Property Management System
  • Strong emotional intelligence, empathy, and innate sense of service
  • Exceptional adaptability and capacity to thrive in high-pressure, dynamic environments
