Cheval Blanc St-Tropez seeks a Maintenance Technician in Saint-Tropez, France to maintain electrical, plumbing, HVAC and exterior areas.
Role & Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, HVAC, heating, plumbing and telephony systems to ensure continuous operation of all installations.
- Diagnose, repair and commission building equipment and fixtures to guarantee comfort and safety for guests and staff.
- Ensure proper functioning and regular testing of safety systems and equipment in line with internal procedures and legal requirements.
- Assist the Technical Director and external contractors during major works, renovations and technical interventions.
- Maintain exterior areas: garden upkeep, terrace cleaning, pool maintenance and the overall presentation of outdoor spaces.
- Log work, report incidents, propose improvements and contribute to the ongoing reliability and longevity of hotel assets.
Qualifications
- CAP or Bac Pro in a maintenance-related discipline (electricity, plumbing, carpentry, painting or equivalent vocational diploma).
- Valid electrical authorization (Habilitation électrique) or in the process of renewal.
- Minimum three years' practical experience in maintenance; prior hands-on experience in plumbing or electrical work.
- Fluent French (oral and written) and working knowledge of English.
- Thorough knowledge of safety standards and regulations applicable to hotel facilities.

Minimum 3 years of practical maintenance experience, ideally within hospitality or a similarly service-oriented environment; demonstrated hands-on experience in electrical and/or plumbing tasks.
Education
CAP or Bac Pro (vocational diploma) in electricity, plumbing, carpentry, painting or a related technical field.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Saint-Tropez, Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, France, with easy access to Nice.
