Cheval Blanc St-Barth seeks a Maintenance Technician in Saint Barthélemy (Contract) to maintain electrical, HVAC and plumbing systems and ensure guest comfort.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Ensure the reliability and longevity of building installations and technical equipment to guarantee guest comfort and operational continuity.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems, HVAC, heating, plumbing and telephony systems to prevent incidents and restore service promptly.
  • Diagnose faults and carry out repairs to maintain the optimal functioning of hotel equipment and installations.
  • Maintain and verify the operation of safety and security equipment to uphold high standards of guest and staff protection.
  • Support the Technical Director during major works, coordinate with external contractors and assist on-site during interventions.

Qualifications

  • CAP or Bac Pro in a maintenance-related discipline (electricity, plumbing, carpentry, painting or similar).
  • Valid electrical authorization / habilitation électrique.
  • Minimum 3 years' professional experience in building or hotel maintenance; hands-on experience in plumbing or electrical work required.
  • Fluent French (spoken and written) and working knowledge of English.
  • Strong knowledge of safety standards and regulatory compliance for technical facilities.

Experience
