Cheval Blanc St-Barth seeks a Maintenance Technician in Saint Barthélemy (Contract) to maintain electrical, HVAC and plumbing systems and ensure guest comfort.

Role & Responsibilities
- Ensure the reliability and longevity of building installations and technical equipment to guarantee guest comfort and operational continuity.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems, HVAC, heating, plumbing and telephony systems to prevent incidents and restore service promptly.
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs to maintain the optimal functioning of hotel equipment and installations.
- Maintain and verify the operation of safety and security equipment to uphold high standards of guest and staff protection.
- Support the Technical Director during major works, coordinate with external contractors and assist on-site during interventions.
Qualifications
- CAP or Bac Pro in a maintenance-related discipline (electricity, plumbing, carpentry, painting or similar).
- Valid electrical authorization / habilitation électrique.
- Minimum 3 years' professional experience in building or hotel maintenance; hands-on experience in plumbing or electrical work required.
- Fluent French (spoken and written) and working knowledge of English.
- Strong knowledge of safety standards and regulatory compliance for technical facilities.

Minimum 3 years of professional experience in building or hotel maintenance, with demonstrated hands-on work in plumbing and/or electrical systems. Early-career candidates with relevant internships may be considered for certain tasks, but the role requires proven practical experience.
Education
CAP or Bac Pro in a maintenance-related discipline (electricity, plumbing, carpentry, painting or equivalent).
