Cheval Blanc Paris seeks an experienced Linen Manager to oversee luxury hotel textiles and uniforms. Full-time, on-site role in Paris with competitive benefits.
Role & Responsibilities
- Direct and supervise the linen care team, ensuring all textiles are treated with meticulous attention to detail and maintained to the exacting standards of Cheval Blanc
- Oversee the laundering, pressing, and storage of all linens, uniforms, and textiles across guest rooms, restaurants, spa facilities, and back-of-house areas
- Conduct regular quality inspections to identify and remediate defects, stains, wear, and imperfections before linens return to service
- Apply specialized knowledge of textile types and care protocols, ensuring each fabric is treated with appropriate laundering and restoration techniques
- Manage linen inventory levels systematically, forecasting requirements and coordinating with external laundry providers to ensure continuous supply meets operational demands
- Collaborate closely with housekeeping, culinary, spa, and concierge teams to align linen rotation and service schedules with guest experience priorities
- Establish and maintain standard operating procedures for textile care, handling, and storage in accordance with Cheval Blanc's exacting quality standards
- Report directly to the Director of Apartments and Quality on operational metrics, team performance, and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of management experience in luxury hospitality linen services or housekeeping operations
- Formal training in hospitality management or equivalent professional certification
- Demonstrated expertise in textile care, fabric types, and industrial laundering protocols
- Proven ability to lead and motivate teams with strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Exceptional organizational acumen and attention to detail
- Fluency in French and English (both written and verbal)
- Understanding of Cheval Blanc service standards and the luxury hospitality sector
Skills
Experience
Minimum 3 years of similar management experience in luxury hospitality, with proven expertise in linen services, housekeeping operations, or textile management. Direct experience managing teams within a Michelin-starred hotel environment or comparable ultra-luxury establishment is preferred.
Education
Formal training in hospitality management, hotel operations, or equivalent professional qualification. Additional certifications in textile care or laundry management are valued.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Paris, Île-de-France, France.
