Cheval Blanc St-Barth seeks a Linen & Laundry Attendant in Saint Barthélemy (CDD, full-time) to maintain impeccable textile standards for rooms, restaurants and spa.
Role & Responsibilities
- Perform laundering, ironing, finishing and careful folding of linens, uniforms and specialty textiles for guestrooms, restaurants and the spa to Cheval Blanc quality standards.
- Inspect all textiles for stains, defects or wear; execute repairs and minor mending with precision or liaise with external specialist providers when needed.
- Apply appropriate treatment procedures for different fabrics, strictly following textile care labels and internal handling protocols.
- Manage linen stocks and storage: perform inventory checks, rotate stock, and ensure availability to meet daily operational demands.
- Coordinate closely with housekeeping, food & beverage and the external laundry service provider to ensure seamless delivery and return of textiles.
- Maintain hygiene and safety standards in the linen room and during textile handling; ensure equipment and workspace are clean and orderly.
Qualifications
- Minimum one year of experience in laundry, linen management or related role; experience in a luxury hotel environment is an asset.
- Demonstrable sewing and mending skills for textile repair.
- Knowledge of fabric care techniques and hygiene & safety norms applicable to hospitality textiles.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to detect and correct the smallest defects.
- Team-oriented, discreet and service-minded with flexibility in hours and tasks.

Experience
At least one year in laundry services, linen management or housekeeping within hospitality; candidates with prior exposure to luxury hotel standards will be preferred, though motivated entry-level applicants with relevant vocational training may be considered.
Education
Vocational training or diploma in textile care, hospitality or a related field preferred; secondary education with relevant practical experience accepted.
