Role & Responsibilities
- Operate industrial dishwashing equipment and manually clean plates, glassware, cutlery and kitchen utensils to the property’s hygiene standards.
- Maintain order, cleanliness and sanitation in dishwashing areas, kitchens and storage rooms following standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Handle the movement, inventorying and correct storage of crockery, cookware and kitchen tools.
- Assist kitchen colleagues by preparing and resetting workstations before and after service.
- Ensure strict compliance with HACCP and workplace safety procedures; report equipment faults or supply shortages promptly.
- Contribute to a calm, efficient back‑of‑house environment by following instructions and supporting team members during peak service.
Qualifications
- Previous experience, even minimal, as a steward/dishwasher in high‑end hospitality or fine‑dining environments.
- Practical knowledge of HACCP principles and basic food‑safety regulations.
- Reliable, punctual and attentive to detail with a strong work ethic.
