Cheval Blanc Porto Cervo seeks an experienced IT Manager to oversee information technology infrastructure and operations in this luxury Italian hospitality property.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and document the deployment of hardware, office equipment, and software components within the organization's IT inventory
  • Establish and oversee maintenance contracts for the entire IT infrastructure
  • Enforce and oversee data security policies to ensure confidentiality of internal and client data with GDPR compliance
  • Secure and manage access to internal IT systems in accordance with security policies defined by LVMH Hotel Management
  • Document and maintain hardware and software inventory, and manage associated budget tracking in coordination with the Finance department
  • Collaborate with LVMH Hotel Management and Finance in the selection and procurement of IT equipment
  • Plan, organize, and coordinate IT projects related to infrastructure and software required for operational needs
  • Perform or oversee routine technical tasks and provisioning of IT equipment for internal clients
  • Collaborate with technical departments in maintaining IT equipment related to hotel operations including Wi-Fi, telephony, and home automation
  • Ensure timely software updates for the entire IT inventory
  • Conduct technological research to identify new hardware or software tools that enhance IT infrastructure
  • Implement recommendations from LVMH Hotel Management and ensure smooth operation of the entire IT architecture
  • Provide weekly and monthly activity reports to the LVMH Hotel Management IT Department
  • Assist internal and external users in hardware and software utilization
  • Resolve incidents related to device and software malfunctions
  • Manage crisis communication and escalation procedures during major IT incidents
  • Recruit, train, and supervise IT staff, organizing work schedules and ensuring regulatory compliance

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of IT management or infrastructure experience
  • Advanced proficiency in network administration including VLAN, Firewall, and Routing
  • Active Directory expertise
  • Wi-Fi infrastructure administration experience with Ruckus or Cisco systems
  • PABX administration experience with 3CX or Alcatel systems
  • Virtualization experience with VMWare
  • Backup and disaster recovery knowledge with Veeam
  • Workspace One platform proficiency
  • Knowledge of Property Management Systems (PMS) and Point of Sale (POS) systems, particularly Opera and Symphony
  • Professional-level English proficiency
  • Fluent Italian language skills

Experience
