Cheval Blanc (Hotel Pitrizza) in Porto Cervo, Italy seeks an HR & Payroll Assistant (seasonal) — onsite role with accommodation provided.
Role & Responsibilities
- Assist with day-to-day HR administration including onboarding, offboarding and maintenance of employee records.
- Support payroll preparation to ensure accuracy and timely execution in line with local procedures.
- Manage employee documentation and maintain HR databases; produce routine HR reports and presentations for management.
- Respond to employee enquiries regarding HR policies, benefits and payroll matters.
- Support recruitment activities: posting vacancies, coordinating interviews and liaising with hiring managers.
- Ensure compliance with Italian labour law and the applicable hotel/restaurant/tourism collective agreement.
- Coordinate with the HR Manager on-site and liaise with the Head Office HR teams in Paris to align processes and reporting.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Hotel Management or Human Resources Management (or equivalent).
- Minimum 3 years’ professional experience in HR and payroll, preferably within hotel, restaurant or tourism sectors.
- Demonstrable dual expertise in personnel administration and payroll processing.
- Working knowledge of Italian labour law and the hotel/restaurant/tourism collective bargaining agreement.
- Fluency in Italian and English, both spoken and written.
- Exceptional organisational skills, meticulous attention to detail and the ability to perform in a seasonal, fast-paced environment.

Experience
Minimum 3 years of relevant HR and payroll experience, ideally gained within the hospitality or tourism industry, with direct exposure to Italian labour law and national collective agreements.
Education
Master’s degree in Hotel Management or Human Resources Management (or equivalent).
