Cheval Blanc Cap Estel in Nice seeks a Housekeeping Attendant (contract) to maintain public areas and deliver discreet guest service.
Role & Responsibilities
- Maintain impeccable cleanliness and presentation of public areas, terraces and communal facilities in line with Cheval Blanc quality standards.
- Perform detailed cleaning, polishing and upkeep tasks; ensure furnishings, fixtures and equipment are spotless and properly arranged.
- Inspect equipment and installations regularly, report defects or safety hazards to the Gouvernant(e) Générale and follow up until resolved.
- Prepare and stage public spaces for service and events, ensuring readiness for guests at all times.
- Deliver discreet, attentive guest-facing service when required, anticipating needs while preserving privacy and comfort.
- Comply with health, safety and hygiene procedures and contribute to the laundry and uniform handling protocols as directed.
Qualifications
- Minimum three years' experience in luxury hotel housekeeping or equivalent high-end hospitality environment.
- Working knowledge of luxury hospitality standards and attention to detail required.
- Good oral English proficiency to communicate with international guests and team members.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively within a housekeeping team under the leadership of Gouvernance.
- Demonstrated discretion, reliability, physical stamina and a service-oriented demeanour.
Skills
Experience
Minimum 3 years' hands-on experience in housekeeping within luxury or high-end hotel environments, with proven familiarity of public-area standards and guest-facing discretion.
Education
Secondary education; vocational training or diploma in hospitality or housekeeping preferred but not mandatory.

The successful candidate will be located in Nice, Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, France.
