Cheval Blanc Paris, the flagship urban residence of the Cheval Blanc collection and an exclusive Paris Palace, seeks an experienced Housekeeper Director to orchestrate housekeeping and public areas operations. This role involves leading a passionate team of Ambassadors dedicated to the art of receiving, collaborating closely with Majordomes to deliver bespoke service, and ensuring every space—from the most luxurious suite to the most discreet service area—reflects an unwavering commitment to excellence. The successful candidate will elevate guest experiences through meticulous attention to room preparation, refresh protocols, and the seamless operation of intelligent building systems.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate housekeeping and public areas teams dedicated to delivering exceptional guest experiences
- Collaborate closely with Majordomes to ensure bespoke, anticipatory service that exceeds guest expectations
- Oversee meticulous preparation and refreshment of all guest rooms and suites, maintaining the highest standards of excellence
- Ensure seamless operation of intelligent building systems and technical infrastructure
- Monitor and maintain rigorous standards of cleanliness, organization, and presentation across all property spaces
- Foster team harmony through tactful leadership, clear communication, and positive engagement
- Manage housekeeping budgets, resources, and operational efficiency with strong organizational acumen
- Demonstrate initiative and creativity in enhancing guest experiences and interior presentation
Qualifications
- Diploma in hospitality or housekeeping (BTS Hôtellerie-Restauration option A, Bac technologie hôtellerie, BP Gouvernante, or equivalent)
- Fluent English (written and oral)
- Expert proficiency with Opera Cloud property management system
- Meticulous attention to detail with a commitment to excellence
- Rigorous, methodical approach with impeccable personal presentation
- Strong diplomatic and pedagogical skills to foster team harmony
- Proven ability to manage large teams with exceptional organizational and initiative skills

Skills
Experience
Minimum 3 years of experience in luxury hospitality housekeeping operations, ideally in a palace or ultra-luxury hotel environment.
Education
BTS Hôtellerie-Restauration (option A Mercatique et Gestion Hôtelière), Bac technologie hôtellerie, BP Gouvernante, CAP Services Hôteliers, or equivalent hospitality qualification.
