Role & Responsibilities

  • Greet guests upon arrival and manage seating arrangements in accordance with established protocols
  • Present menus and beverage selections to guests in the absence of the Maître d'Hôtel
  • Provide comprehensive support to dining room and point-of-sale staff before, during, and after service
  • Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience and respond to requests promptly
  • Promote available services, products, and experiences across Café Maxime Frédéric at Louis Vuitton and other Cheval Blanc properties
  • Handle guest and internal inquiries via telephone and email with professionalism and accuracy
  • Facilitate communication between front-of-house staff and support services; coordinate guest requests with reception teams
  • Contribute to the creation and distribution of point-of-sale materials including menus, promotional flyers, and service documentation
  • Alert management to any safety concerns, incidents, or unusual situations affecting guest or colleague wellbeing

Qualifications

  • BEP/CAP in Culinary Arts or BAC PRO in Restaurant Management
  • Knowledge of HACCP food safety protocols
  • Demonstrable experience in luxury hospitality or Michelin-starred dining environments
  • Fluent English (written and oral) — mandatory
  • Proficiency in a third language preferred (Arabic, Russian, Mandarin, or Portuguese)
