Cheval Blanc (LVMH) Paris seeks a Host for Café Louis Vuitton — fixed-term contract in Paris; reservations, guest reception and SevenRooms experience required.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver a warm, refined welcome to guests of Café Louis Vuitton, embodying the Maison’s Art de Recevoir from arrival through departure.
- Manage incoming reservations via telephone, email and in-person enquiries, optimising table allocation and overall occupancy while accommodating special requests and group bookings.
- Operate reservation and guest-management tools (SevenRooms) and maintain accurate administrative records of bookings and guest preferences.
- Accompany and seat guests, oversee wardrobe/vestiaire operations, and coordinate seamlessly with F&B, service and kitchen teams to guarantee service continuity.
- Proactively anticipate guest needs, respond to enquiries, and promote the hotel’s restaurant offerings and events to enhance revenue and guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Professional qualification in hospitality or service (BEP/CAP/Bac Pro in hospitality/restauration or degree in Languages, Economics and Applied Languages - LEA).
- Minimum three years’ experience in luxury hotel hospitality or starred-restaurant front-of-house; prior internship or early-career placement in a similar establishment may be considered.
- Fluent written and spoken French and English; competence in a third language highly desirable.
- Operational knowledge of SevenRooms (reservation/guest-management system).
- Demonstrable guest-service orientation: empathy, strong interpersonal skills, availability, flexibility and proven ability to perform within high-performing teams.

Experience
Minimum three years’ professional experience in luxury hospitality or fine-dining front-of-house roles; internships or initial placements in equivalent establishments may be acceptable when supported by relevant training.
Education
BEP/CAP/Bac Pro in hospitality/restauration or a degree in LEA (Languages, Economics and Applied Languages) or equivalent vocational hospitality qualification.
