Cheval Blanc St‑Tropez seeks Head of Reception in Saint‑Tropez, France — full‑time front office leadership role at the luxury hotel.
Role & Responsibilities
- Welcome and advise Guests with elegance and accuracy, promoting the House’s services (restaurants, Spa, beach, exclusive experiences).
- Supervise the daily organisation of the reception team: allocate duties, monitor task completion and ensure operational efficiency.
- Coach, mentor and develop Reception Ambassadors to maintain Cheval Blanc standards and LQA requirements throughout the season.
- Build schedules and duty rosters, optimise staffing resources and ensure uninterrupted front‑office coverage.
- Manage guest complaints and follow‑up in coordination with department heads using Knowcross, ensuring timely corrective actions.
- Propose and implement process, service and initiative improvements to enhance guest experience and team performance.
- Lead the reception team by example, promoting the Maison’s values of rigour, benevolence, attention and professionalism.
- Conduct performance evaluations, deliver constructive feedback and implement individual improvement plans.
- Participate in recruitment, onboarding and integration of new reception staff to sustain team capability.
- Perform administrative responsibilities per SOPs: weekly requisitions, inventories, reporting and maintenance of data accuracy in Opera Cloud and Knowcross.
Qualifications
- Higher education degree (Bac+4/5) in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management or Business.
- Minimum 5 years’ professional experience in luxury hotel front office, including substantive managerial responsibility.
- Fluent in French and English (written and spoken); mastery of a third language is appreciated (Arabic, Russian, Chinese or Portuguese).
- Proven ability to lead and develop multicultural teams with discretion, rigour and emotional intelligence.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and a guest‑centric mindset.

Experience
Minimum 5 years' experience in luxury hotel front office operations, with significant experience leading a reception or front office team; prior exposure to five‑star hospitality standards is required.
Education
Bac+4/5 (Master's level) in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management or Business.
