Cheval Blanc St-Tropez, an iconic luxury resort established in 1936 and set beneath century-old pine trees overlooking the Gulf of Saint-Tropez, seeks an experienced Front Office Manager to lead its reception team. This supervisory role combines operational excellence with guest relations expertise, requiring the successful candidate to oversee daily reception operations, mentor ambassadors, manage guest inquiries, and drive process improvements across all front-of-house functions. The ideal candidate will embody the property's hallmark discretion and service excellence while managing administrative duties and performance metrics within a property renowned for its three Michelin-starred gastronomic restaurant, Guerlain spa, and 200-strong artisan team.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Welcome and assist guests with elegance and precision, highlighting the property's services including restaurants, spa, beach, and exclusive experiences
  • Supervise the daily organisation of the reception team, delegate tasks, and ensure rigorous monitoring of operations
  • Lead and mentor front office ambassadors, foster their professional development, and ensure adherence to Cheval Blanc and LQA standards throughout the season
  • Develop schedules and service rosters, optimise resource allocation, and guarantee operational efficiency
  • Handle and track guest complaints in coordination with department heads and via the Knowcross platform, ensuring prompt and effective corrective actions
  • Propose new processes, services, and initiatives to enhance guest experience and team performance
  • Lead the reception team by embodying the property's values of rigour, benevolence, attentiveness, and professionalism
  • Motivate, inspire, and develop talent within the team, fostering cohesion and ambassador engagement
  • Evaluate individual and collective performance, provide constructive feedback, and implement improvement plans
  • Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and support of new team members
  • Execute administrative duties according to SOPs: scheduling, weekly requisitions, inventories, and internal procedure updates
  • Produce reports and performance tracking dashboards to optimise team organisation and monitor KPIs
  • Maintain compliance and accuracy of information in management systems (Opera Cloud, Knowcross)

Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (Bac+4/5) in Hotel Management or Business Management
  • Minimum 5 years of confirmed experience in the same role
  • Fluent English and French (written and oral)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Knowledge of Opera Cloud and 7Rooms systems (preferred)
  • Familiarity with Leading Quality Assurance (LQA) standards (preferred)
  • Third language proficiency appreciated (Arabic, Russian, Mandarin Chinese, or Portuguese)

Experience
