Cheval Blanc (LVMH) in Paris seeks a Front-of-House Supervisor for Langosteria restaurant — permanent full-time hospitality supervisor role.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Welcome and receive guests as the first ambassador of the restaurant, ensuring an impeccable and memorable client experience in accordance with the Maison’s standards.
  • Lead, coach and supervise the service team (Chefs de Rang, Commis), including recruitment, training, scheduling and performance evaluation to maintain service excellence.
  • Own the operational flow of service: seatings, mise en place, coordination with kitchen, quality control and resolution of guest feedback.
  • Ensure team mastery of the menu, wine list and product knowledge; drive upselling and commercial initiatives during service.
  • Monitor service standards, hygiene compliance (HACCP) and front-of-house inventory; collaborate on cost control and basic financial indicators (turnover, ratios, stock management).
  • Represent the restaurant at gastronomic events and ensure the service team projects the brand’s values and image at all times.
  • Use property systems and reporting tools (Micros, Opera Cloud, Pack Office) for daily management and handovers.

Qualifications

  • Higher education in hospitality or culinary arts (BTS or equivalent) or demonstrable equivalent experience in luxury hospitality.
  • Minimum five years’ experience in a luxury hotel or starred restaurant with prior supervisory responsibility.
  • Solid knowledge of HACCP and hygiene standards applicable to high-end F&B operations.
  • Proven management skills: recruiting, training, organising, developing and evaluating teams.
  • Commercial aptitude and strong communication skills; proven ability to drive service sales and guest satisfaction.
  • Operational understanding of revenue, ratios and stock management.
  • Proficiency in Pack Office, Micros and Opera Cloud.
  • Fluent English (written and spoken) is mandatory; additional languages such as Arabic, Russian, Chinese or Portuguese are an advantage.
