Cheval Blanc St-Barth seeks Food & Beverage Officer; luxury Caribbean resort hospitality role in Saint Barthélemy.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Prepare, maintain, and organize all dining and bar offices in strict adherence to hotel quality standards and procedures
  • Assist the Head Bartender with service setup, ensuring optimal availability, cleanliness, and organization of all bar equipment and materials
  • Serve as liaison between dining room and bar operations, communicating orders and coordinating seamless beverage service
  • Actively monitor service flow through clearing, restocking, and maintaining continuous cleanliness of all service areas and equipment
  • Alert management promptly to any situations that may compromise service quality, staff safety, or guest experience
  • Engage directly with guests to manage requests and complaints with professionalism, discretion, and exceptional service standards
  • Participate in internal and cross-departmental communications, hotel-organized events, and role-specific training
  • Maintain strict adherence to the hotel's grooming standards and operational procedures

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of significant experience in luxury hospitality, fine dining, or premium bar operations
  • Demonstrated experience in high-end establishments with demanding service standards
  • Comprehensive knowledge of luxury hospitality standards, procedures, and protocols
  • Fluent English proficiency (spoken)
  • Strong cultural knowledge of gastronomy and tourism
  • Proven ability to manage priorities, handle stress, and resolve guest complaints with professionalism
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
