Cheval Blanc Randheli (Noonu, Maldives) seeks a Financial Controller — on-site, full‑time role responsible for reporting, budgeting and internal controls.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Director of Finance in safeguarding the Maison’s financial integrity through robust accounting, reporting and control practices.
- Lead month‑end and year‑end close processes; prepare accurate financial statements and consolidated reports in accordance with group and local standards.
- Own budgeting, forecasting and long‑range financial planning; deliver timely variance analysis and actionable business insights.
- Design, implement and enforce internal controls, compliance procedures and audit readiness across finance processes.
- Manage cash flow and treasury activities, ensuring liquidity and efficient working capital management.
- Partner with operational leaders to translate financial data into cost‑efficiency measures and revenue optimisation initiatives.
- Coordinate external and internal audits and follow up on audit recommendations.
- Supervise and mentor the on‑island finance team and liaise with central corporate finance functions.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, preferably within luxury hospitality or a comparable environment.
- Proven track record in financial reporting, budgeting, internal controls and audit management within structured corporate or multi‑property organisations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline; professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA, ACA or equivalent) preferred.
- Strong ethical standards, discretion and sound professional judgement.

Experience
Minimum 10 years of finance/accounting experience, with substantial exposure to luxury hospitality or multi‑property corporate finance; demonstrated experience in financial reporting, budgeting, internal controls and audit coordination.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA, ACA or equivalent) preferred.

This position is based in Noonu, Noonu Atoll, Maldives, within easy reach of Malé.
