Cheval Blanc St-Barth seeks Duty Manager in Saint-Barthélemy. Lead luxury hospitality operations with 5+ years experience and fluent French/English.
Role & Responsibilities
- Ensure operational continuity during absence of executive leadership and departmental heads, implementing strategic decisions as needed
- Supervise and coordinate all property operations while maintaining Cheval Blanc quality standards and ensuring consistent guest satisfaction
- Manage complex situations and conflicts with professionalism and diplomacy, delivering creative solutions that exceed guest expectations
- Conduct daily quality control across guest rooms and in-room service, including technical inspections and arrival room verifications
- Prepare comprehensive and concise activity reports, analyze performance data, and formulate strategic recommendations
- Proactively identify and implement innovative initiatives to enhance guest loyalty and strengthen operational excellence at the property
Qualifications
- Tertiary education in hospitality management
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a duty manager role or equivalent operational leadership position
- Fluent in French and English (written and proficient oral communication)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and demonstrated comfort with digital tools
- Strong organizational and prioritization capabilities with attention to precision
- Proven management aptitude with excellent leadership presence
- Outstanding interpersonal and representation skills with strong guest-service orientation
- Ability to anticipate needs, propose solutions, and take initiative independently
