Cheval Blanc St-Barth — Duty Manager (Contract) in Saint Barthélemy. Seeking an experienced hospitality manager fluent in French and English.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily operations across departments to ensure seamless guest experiences and compliance with Cheval Blanc quality standards.
  • Ensure continuity of operations in the absence of senior management, making strategic decisions and taking operational responsibility when required.
  • Manage complex guest situations and conflicts with diplomacy, proposing creative solutions to exceed expectations.
  • Perform daily quality control and technical room inspections (arrival checks, room standards, turn-downs) to uphold presentation and service levels.
  • Produce clear, concise operational reports, analyse activity data and recommend initiatives to increase guest loyalty and business performance.
  • Propose and drive innovative initiatives to grow the Maison’s activity and enhance guest retention.

Qualifications

  • Higher education qualification in Hospitality or Hotel Management.
  • Knowledge of the luxury hotel sector and service excellence standards.
  • Professional command of French and English, both written and spoken.
  • Proven leadership and people management skills with strong representational presence.
  • Excellent oral and written communication, organisational rigour and time-management skills.

Experience
