Cheval Blanc Courchevel seeks an experienced Doorman for its five-star palace hotel in the French Alps. Full-time, on-site position with accommodation and benefits.
Role & Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for arriving and departing guests, embodying elegance, courtesy, and service excellence
- Manage baggage receipt and vehicle assistance with meticulous attention to detail and efficiency
- Coordinate closely with Reception and Concierge teams to ensure smooth guest flow and transitions
- Anticipate and respond promptly to guest requests and preferences throughout their stay
- Contribute to creating a warm, personalized, and memorable welcome experience consistent with the Maison's standards of excellence
Qualifications
- Fluent English and French (written and oral)
- Minimum 2 years of confirmed experience in the same role
- Training or background in hospitality, hotel management, or hospitality operations
- Knowledge of luxury hospitality sector standards and best practices
- Familiarity with Leading Quality Assurance standards
- Proficiency with Opera Cloud property management system (preferred)
Skills
Experience
Minimum 3 years of confirmed professional experience in a luxury hospitality doorman, porter, or guest services role; previous experience at a five-star property is advantageous.
Education
Formal training or qualification in hospitality, hotel management, or hospitality operations is appreciated.
