Cheval Blanc St-Barth seeks a Dining Room Commis for Langosteria restaurant in Saint-Barthélemy. Fixed-term hospitality role with accommodation.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Assist the Chef de Rang in delivering an exceptional guest experience and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere throughout service
  • Uphold HACCP food hygiene standards by preparing and organizing the service area, ensuring meticulous setup and breakdown according to house procedures
  • Supply and maintain the dining room with necessary service materials, ensuring impeccable flow throughout each service period
  • Actively participate in food and beverage service under the Chef de Rang's direction, maintaining presentation standards aligned with Cheval Blanc protocol
  • Clear tables and maintain dining room cleanliness during and between services, including the care and cleaning of all service equipment
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with kitchen, pantry, wine cellar, and stewarding teams to ensure harmonious operations
  • Contribute to creating memorable guest experiences from arrival through seating, coat check, dining, and departure
  • Promote the restaurant and special dining events organized by the hotel and the Cheval Blanc collection

Qualifications

  • BEP, CAP, or BAC PRO in Hospitality or Culinary Arts
  • Demonstrated experience in luxury hospitality or Michelin-starred establishments
  • Minimum one prior experience (internship or position) in a similar upscale dining establishment
  • Mastery of HACCP food hygiene standards
  • Fluent French (spoken and written)
  • Strong English proficiency; additional languages advantageous
  • Technical command of professional service techniques

Experience
