Cheval Blanc Paris seeks Dining Room Assistant in luxury hospitality for fixed-term role in Paris, France.
Role & Responsibilities
- Prepare and organize dining areas according to Cheval Blanc standards, ensuring impeccable HACCP hygiene compliance and mise en place protocols
- Support the Chef de Rang in delivering exceptional service, assisting with food and beverage presentation tailored to the property's exacting standards
- Maintain continuous dining room cleanliness during service, including table clearing, resetting, and maintenance of service equipment
- Ensure reliable restocking and provisioning of the dining room to guarantee seamless service flow
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with the kitchen, stewarding, wine cellars, and logistics teams to facilitate harmonious service
- Embody the Cheval Blanc ambassador role from guest welcome through departure, promoting the restaurants and special dining events
- Demonstrate proactive commitment to guest satisfaction and anticipatory service delivery
Qualifications
- BEP, CAP, or BAC PRO in hospitality or culinary services
- Demonstrated experience in luxury hospitality or Michelin-starred restaurant environments
- Proficiency with Point of Sale systems (Micros) and reservation software (La Fourchette)
- Advanced English proficiency (written and oral)
- Fluency in a third language preferred (Arabic, Russian, Mandarin, or Portuguese)
Skills
Experience
Minimum 3 years of significant service experience in a comparable luxury or Michelin-starred establishment, including at least one prior position or internship in a similar setting.
Education
BEP, CAP, or BAC PRO in hospitality, culinary services, or restaurant management.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Paris, Île-de-France, France.
