Role & Responsibilities

• Ensure optimal functioning of housekeeping operations during Director's absence
• Supervise and control apartment and public space maintenance to Cheval Blanc quality standards and safety regulations
• Plan, supervise, and monitor housekeeping and public space teams with strict adherence to hygiene and security protocols
• Maintain exceptional guest relations with discretion and confidentiality
• Anticipate and respond to guest requests to maximize satisfaction
• Manage and update guest preference records (Cardex) systematically
• Coordinate guest safety and comfort in collaboration with security services
• Handle guest complaints and claims professionally and compassionately
• Develop and retain guest loyalty; promote hotel services and the broader Cheval Blanc Collection
• Propose enhancements to products and services to increase guest satisfaction and loyalty
• Recruit, train, and mentor housekeeping staff; oversee work organization and new staff integration
• Manage relationships with external service providers in compliance with internal procedures
• Supervise linen operations including team management, inventory, staff uniforms, and external partner relations
• Oversee departmental stock management and coordinate supplies with the facilities department
• Ensure accurate and timely inventory audits aligned with departmental objectives
• Monitor service costs and implement initiatives to enhance profitability of rooms and linen operations
• Participate in budget development and monitoring
• Track key performance indicators (guest satisfaction, revenue, staff satisfaction) and implement corrective action plans
• Coordinate technical maintenance and repairs to maintain optimal condition of all apartments and suites
• Ensure proper maintenance of equipment, facilities, and adherence to operational procedures across all team members
• Guarantee clear communication and dissemination of guest-related information and directives to all teams

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in luxury hospitality
• BTS in Hotel-Restaurant Management with hotel management and marketing specialization, or equivalent
• BAC in hotel technology or hospitality
• BP Gouvernante (Housekeeping Manager diploma) or equivalent professional qualification
• CAP in Hotel Services or equivalent
• Fluent English (written and oral)
• Proficiency with Opera Cloud property management system
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to excellence
• Rigorous, methodical, and impeccably presented
• Diplomatic and pedagogical approach to team management
• Strong organizational and financial acumen with initiative-taking capability

Skills

Experience

Minimum 5 years' experience in the luxury hospitality sector, including demonstrated expertise in housekeeping operations, team management, and service excellence standards typical of palace-level establishments.

Education

BTS in Hotel-Restaurant Management (option: hotel management and marketing) or BAC in hotel technology; BP Gouvernante or CAP in Hotel Services, or equivalent professional qualifications in hospitality management.
