Cheval Blanc Paris seeks Deputy General Housekeeper to lead housekeeping operations at luxury Parisian hotel; LVMH luxury hospitality.
Role & Responsibilities
- Ensure optimal functioning of housekeeping services during the General Housekeeper's absence and provide operational leadership to housekeeping teams
- Supervise and control apartment, suite, and public space cleaning operations in strict compliance with quality standards and safety procedures
- Plan, supervise, and monitor housekeeping teams while ensuring adherence to hygiene, safety, and brand quality standards
- Apply and enforce quality standards consistently across all housekeeping activities
- Maintain exceptional guest relations, discretion, and confidentiality while anticipating guest needs and addressing requests promptly
- Update and maintain accurate guest preference records (Cardex) and ensure optimal guest satisfaction
- Collaborate with security services to ensure guest safety and comfort; manage guest complaints and concerns with compassion according to house procedures
- Promote guest loyalty and hotel services; serve as a brand ambassador for Cheval Blanc Collection services
- Recruit, train, integrate, and mentor housekeeping staff; organize team activities and provide constructive feedback
- Supervise laundry operations, including staff management, linen inventory, staff uniforms, and external vendor relationships
- Manage housekeeping inventory, ensure adequate stock levels in quality and quantity, and coordinate with procurement services
- Oversee inventory audits to achieve targets and maintain accountability
- Monitor cost management and implement revenue-enhancement initiatives for apartments and laundry operations; participate in budget planning and tracking
- Track performance indicators including guest satisfaction, revenue, staff satisfaction, and deploy action plans accordingly
- Coordinate with technical services to ensure optimal condition of apartments and suites; oversee maintenance requests and follow-ups
- Ensure proper maintenance of equipment and facilities; guarantee team understanding and application of all management and maintenance procedures
- Ensure clear transmission of all guest-related information and instructions to all team members
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in luxury hospitality housekeeping operations
- BTS in Hospitality-Restoration (option A: Marketing and Hotel Management) or equivalent qualification
- Baccalauréat in Hotel Technology or equivalent secondary qualification
- BP (Professional Diploma) in Housekeeping or CAP (Certificate of Professional Aptitude) in Hotel Services
- Advanced proficiency in English (written and oral)
- Mastery of Opera Cloud property management system
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to excellence
- Meticulous, methodical approach with impeccable personal presentation
- Diplomatic and pedagogical approach to team management; excellent communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and proven initiative

Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in luxury hospitality housekeeping operations, with demonstrated expertise in team leadership, quality standards management, and guest services in a high-end hotel environment.
Education
BTS in Hospitality-Restoration (option A: Marketing and Hotel Management), or Baccalauréat in Hotel Technology, or BP in Housekeeping, or CAP in Hotel Services. Equivalent qualifications may be considered.
