Role & Responsibilities

  • Act as the on-duty head of housekeeping in the absence of the Executive Housekeeper, ensuring uninterrupted service and adherence to Maison standards.
  • Supervise, plan and control daily operations of apartment and public-area housekeeping, verifying quality, hygiene and safety compliance.
  • Manage, train and motivate floor teams and laundry/linen staff; welcome and integrate new Ambassadors.
  • Oversee linen, uniform and amenity inventories; coordinate with Economat and external suppliers to secure quality and timely replenishment.
  • Supervise the lingerie (laundry) unit in collaboration with the Lingerie Manager, including team management, stock control and partner relations.
  • Handle guest relations with discretion: anticipate needs, manage complaints, update guest Cardex profiles and liaise with Security to guarantee guest comfort and safety.
  • Monitor service KPIs (guest satisfaction, revenue per service, team satisfaction) and develop action plans to drive performance and profitability.
  • Participate in recruitment, formation of budgets, inventory processes and cost-control initiatives for the department.
  • Coordinate technical maintenance in rooms with the Technical Service to preserve the condition of apartments and suites.
  • Ensure accurate transmission of guest information and operational instructions across teams and shifts.

Qualifications

  • Minimum five years' progressive experience in luxury hotel housekeeping with supervisory responsibilities.
  • Proven knowledge of luxury hospitality standards and guest service practices.
  • Operational mastery of Opera Cloud and experience maintaining guest Cardex/profiles.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage linen/laundry operations, inventories and supplier relationships.
  • Strong leadership and pedagogical skills with proven experience in team recruitment, coaching and performance management.
  • Excellent personal presentation, discretion, tact and diplomatic guest communication.
  • Solid organisational skills, rigor, initiative and experience contributing to departmental budgets and cost control.

Experience

BTS Hôtellerie‑Restauration (option A) or equivalent; acceptable vocational qualifications include Bac Technologique Hôtellerie, BP Gouvernante or CAP Services Hôteliers, or equivalent professional experience.
