Role & Responsibilities
- Assist the Chef de Rang in creating a welcoming atmosphere and upholding service excellence that ensures a memorable guest experience
- Maintain HACCP hygiene standards while preparing and organizing the dining room according to house procedures and mise-en-place protocols
- Deliver expert service to assigned sections, adhering rigorously to Cheval Blanc service standards
- Coordinate seamlessly with kitchen, storage, wine cellar, and stewarding teams to ensure harmonious service execution
- Engage guests from arrival through departure, ensuring impeccable placement, coat check, service, and farewell experiences
- Actively promote the hotel's restaurants and culinary events to guests
- Anticipate guest needs with empathy and act as a brand ambassador for the establishment
Qualifications
- BEP, CAP, or Baccalauréat Professionnel in Hospitality/Culinary Studies
- Significant service experience in a fine dining or Michelin-starred establishment of equivalent standing
- Proficiency in Office Suite, Micros POS system, and La Fourchette reservation platform
- Fluent English (written and spoken) required
- Third language proficiency (Arabic, Russian, Mandarin Chinese, or Portuguese) preferred
- Strong sales and communication abilities
- Excellent interpersonal skills with high guest-facing presence
- Outstanding sense of hospitality, courtesy, and discretion
