Role & Responsibilities
- Assist the Chef de Partie in the daily management of an assigned station (hot, cold or pastry) and ensure flawless execution of dishes during service.
- Prepare mise en place and execute cooking, finishing and plating to the maison's exacting presentation and quality standards.
- Maintain strict compliance with HACCP standards and kitchen hygiene and safety protocols at all times.
- Participate in stock management, goods receipt, rotation and basic inventory control to ensure efficient service flow.
- Contribute to menu execution, following recipes and portioning guidelines while suggesting improvements when appropriate.
- Work collaboratively within the brigade to guarantee timely service and seamless communication between kitchen and front-of-house.
- Support continuous improvement through disciplined mise en place, equipment care and adherence to brigade rituals.
Qualifications
- Diploma in culinary arts (BEP/CAP/BAC Pro cuisine) or equivalent professional qualification.
- Experience in luxury hotel or starred restaurant environments preferred; 1–3 internships or short-term positions in similar establishments is an asset.
- Solid mastery of HACCP food-safety procedures and kitchen sanitation practices.
- Proven competence in classical French cooking techniques and station management.
- Flexible availability, strong work ethic and capacity to perform under pressure.
- Excellent team spirit, attention to detail and a passion for gastronomy.

Experience
Entry-level; ideal candidate holds a culinary diploma and has completed one to three internships or short-term roles in luxury hotels or starred restaurants. Practical brigade experience is valued.
Education
BEP/CAP/BAC Pro in Culinary Arts or equivalent professional culinary qualification.
