Cheval Blanc Courchevel seeks a culinary intern for its Michelin three-star restaurant in the French Alps; accommodation, meals, and transport included.
Role & Responsibilities
- Assist commis and chefs de partie in the preparation of dishes and the smooth operation of the kitchen brigade
- Perform preliminary preparation tasks including peeling, cutting, washing, and receiving merchandise according to kitchen standards
- Participate in the fabrication and elaboration of dishes by following instructions carefully and applying learned techniques
- Execute mise en place and plating of dishes, ensuring careful presentation and adherence to plating guidelines
- Maintain compliance with HACCP standards and the Maison's operational procedures throughout all kitchen activities
- Contribute to the cleaning and maintenance of kitchen facilities and equipment
- Participate in waste sorting and disposal procedures
Qualifications
- BEP, CAP, or BAC PRO in Culinary Arts (or equivalent)
- Knowledge of luxury hospitality or Michelin-starred restaurant environments
- Fluent English and French (written and oral)
- Mastery of HACCP food safety standards
- Proficiency in fundamental culinary techniques

Experience
Entry-level candidates with beginner-level experience or recent culinary training are welcome; prior exposure to luxury hospitality or fine dining is advantageous.
Education
BEP, CAP, or BAC PRO in Culinary Arts, or equivalent culinary training.
